Dr. Hirah S. Khan is a glaucoma specialist at Tampa Eye Clinic with a focus on personalized, evidence-based care for patients with glaucoma. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical management of glaucoma, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and advanced surgical treatments when appropriate.
Dr. Khan completed her glaucoma fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and her ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she also served as Administrative Chief Resident. She trained in high-volume clinical settings and is experienced in managing complex and advanced glaucoma cases.
She earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of South Florida and is proud to return to the Tampa Bay area to care for patients in her home community. Dr. Khan values clear communication and works closely with patients to create treatment plans that support both long-term vision and quality of life.
